About CalcForge
CalcForge is a collection of browser-based calculators and utilities for developers, pet owners, household decisions, and personal finance. Every tool shows its work — formulas, variable definitions, worked examples, and source citations alongside the result.
Who builds CalcForge
CalcForge is built and maintained by Rock Lee, a software engineer focused on practical, privacy-first web tools. The goal is to make high-quality calculators that explain their formulas, cite their sources, and work without accounts or data uploads. Tools are reviewed and updated when formulas, reference ranges, or underlying data change.
Built for quick, private answers
Tools run in your browser. Inputs are not stored by CalcForge or sent to a calculation API. Each tool page explains its formula, variable definitions, assumptions, limitations, and source material so you understand the result, not just the output number.
How we handle accuracy
Calculator outputs are estimates, not professional advice. Finance tools follow published amortization and compound-interest formulas. Health tools use clinical reference formulas such as Mifflin–St Jeor, Harris– Benedict, and standard BMI equations, with source citations on each page. Pet tools reference species-specific veterinary guidelines from organisations such as the AVMA and AKC. Astrology tools use documented astronomical methods for cultural and educational reference only.
Finance, health, and pet pages carry explicit disclaimers so users can make informed decisions and consult a qualified professional when the stakes are high. If you find a formula error or outdated reference, please report it via the contact address below.
Content and editorial standards
Every tool page is accompanied by a written explanation covering the formula, worked example, common mistakes, and interpretation guidance. Articles on the site are researched, written, and reviewed by the CalcForge team. We do not scrape, reword, or republish third-party content without attribution.
